1. Back in Bremerton!
    Second Monday of the month, February through November. There are no meetings during December and January. We are now able to meet at Fire Station #41 again. 7600 Old Military Road, Bremerton, WA 98311 6:30 pm, horticultural Q&A time 7:00 pm, regular meetings Guests are always welcome!
  2. What's New?
    Bring your BEST ROSE OF THE DAY to our general meetings beginning in May. There will bo no general meeting August 2017. Best Rose of the Day contest and any business will be done at the club picnic at the home of Sally and Roger Eastman.

  1. Meeting format
    We start at 6:30 with seasonal rose care tips and other horticultural information. At 7:00 we have the main program which is a guest speaker on a topic for rose education. Refreshments are free and served after the speaker. Around 8:00 we have the business meeting for the club.
  2. Speakers
    September 11, 2017 will be our next general meeting. During August plan to bring roses to the Kitsap County Fair. Entries will be accepted on August 21 until 8 PM. Cut your roses before peak perfection and bring them after 4PM. (entries accepted until 8PM, see fair website for details)
  3. Water, water, water!
    The first week of August is expected to be the hottest week of the year. Wait until next week to fertilize roses, if you planned that last time for the season. Roses need deep watering now and some pruning to remove spent blooms.
